The Scan Truck converts real equipment, facilities, and environments into accurate simulation-ready data for government, defense, and aerospace programs. We are SAM.gov registered (CAGE 8KB18, UEI J7F2CB62LJA7), have completed a Phase II SBIR, and have performed on an OTA agreement. Two self-sufficient mobile studios, based in Los Angeles and Albuquerque, deploy nationwide to your installation, lab, or site.
Past Performance
We completed a Phase II SBIR and performed on an OTA agreement, digitizing military equipment, weapons, and munitions with blue-light laser scanning at 25-micron accuracy, then combining that geometry with photogrammetry texture data to build assets for a VR training simulator. We have also supported U.S. Army productions, capturing tactical uniforms, night-vision systems, chest rigs, and precision field gear at hero fidelity. The same pipeline has delivered 300+ film, TV, and game projects, and our client list includes 10 of the Forbes 100.
Digital Twins, Training Environments & Scan-to-Simulation
Long-range LiDAR, drone photogrammetry, and handheld capture convert facilities, ranges, vehicles, and terrain into registered point clouds and textured meshes. From that data we build digital twin packages, XR and VR training environments, mission rehearsal spaces, and simulation-ready scenes for Unreal, Unity, and custom platforms. Deliverables ship in E57, LAS/LAZ, OBJ, FBX, GLB/glTF, and USD, aligned to your program’s coordinate and metadata requirements.
Secure On-Site Operations
Sensitive programs shape how we operate everywhere. Scan data can remain on client-controlled storage with no cloud upload required. Our crew members are U.S. citizens, experienced working within site security and escort procedures. Both mobile studios are fully self-sufficient with onboard power and processing, so we bring everything needed onto your site and leave nothing behind but the data you keep.

We work as a direct vendor, a subcontractor to primes, or a technical partner on SBIR, STTR, OTA, BAA, RFI, and Sources Sought opportunities. As a small, specialized capture provider, we slot into larger program teams without overhead drag: quotes typically turn around within a business day, raw scan data delivers in about 2 working days, and finished assets in 1 to 2 weeks depending on complexity.

What accuracy can you certify?
Our blue-light laser scanner resolves detail to 25 microns (0.025 mm), suitable for inspection, reverse engineering, and CAD reference. LiDAR facility capture produces registered point clouds with survey-grade relative accuracy appropriate for digital twins and simulation.
