Full-Body Photogrammetry
160 cross-polarized cameras firing at once. Minutes per person, around 120 people a day, hero fidelity every time.
The heart of The Scan Truck is a 160-camera DSLR photogrammetry rig built into a 24-foot mobile studio. It has captured principal cast on Dune: Part Two and Superman, the full cast of The Quarry, and thousands of people across 300+ productions. Because the studio drives to you, talent steps in between setups and steps out minutes later, scanned at hero quality.

Why Cross-Polarization Matters
Every camera and light in the rig is polarized, which strips specular reflections at the moment of capture. The result is clean, shine-free texture data: true skin tone and fabric color with no baked-in highlights, exactly what lookdev and texture artists need. All 160 cameras fire simultaneously, so there is no motion blur between angles and no holding still through a long capture, which is how we scan people, including children and animals, reliably.
Bodies, Faces & FACS Sessions
Standard sessions capture full bodies, costumes, and poses at around 120 individual scans a day. For facial animation pipelines, dedicated FACS sessions capture the expression library that drives believable digital doubles: roughly 250 individual head scans in a session, covering the action units riggers build blendshapes from. Costume continuity, stunt doubles, and background casts all run through the same fast pipeline.

A Studio That Parks Next to Yours
The rig lives inside a self-sufficient truck with its own power, lighting, and processing suite, with a second expandable trailer covering the East Coast from Albuquerque. Park us at your stage, backlot, clinic, or facility and the scanning day fits around your schedule instead of the other way around. Raw data delivers in about 2 working days; hero-level assets in 1 to 2 weeks.
