Vehicles are the classic hard subject: large, reflective, and full of dark featureless surfaces that defeat cameras alone. We solve them by combining methods: blue-light laser scanning for exact geometry on paint and chrome, photogrammetry for color and material, and LiDAR for scale reference. The result is a production-quality vehicle asset for VFX, games, visualization, digital twins, or design reference.
Case Study: Kawasaki
Kawasaki wanted a cutting-edge way to showcase its brand-new vehicles. We scanned their UTV and motorcycle line using blue-light laser scanning combined with hand photogrammetry, capturing highly detailed, realistic models. The assets drove photorealistic animations for the TV commercial, then were further optimized for real-time AR preview on mobile devices: one capture, two campaigns.
Built for Reflective, Dark & Complex Surfaces
Chrome, gloss paint, glass, and matte black trim each defeat single-method capture. Our blue-light laser scanner projects its own structured light, resolving geometry to 25 microns regardless of surface finish, while cross-polarized photogrammetry captures color without baked-in reflections. Interiors get handheld capture for dashboards, seats, and trim detail.

A single capture supports multiple pipelines: hero vehicle assets for film and commercials, game-ready and simulation-ready models with LODs and PBR materials, digital twin packages, and dimensional reference for CAD and reverse engineering. Delivered in OBJ, FBX, STL, GLB/glTF, USD, and engine-ready formats, or as STEP and IGES for engineering workflows.
